Sunday Morning....Sept.13,2009

Wow foggy this morning!!!! Another week done and another week of coming...this week I was able to have more contact with people and put closure on some places I applied....I also was able to apply in person at a couple of places....for some reason I felt like I did better.
Someone else I know went to see the Julie and Julia Movie and they were also inspired to go to borders and check out her books....I think that movie is INSPIRING!!! The whole theatre participates while watching it ...you feel good when you leave the theatre and you want to talk about it...if you haven'tseen it GOOOOO!!! It encouraged me to start my blog....as I said before I have things to say:)

At last I've had communication with the employer!!!!! I was able to apply and put closure to some places....all you employers out there we just want to know if you are interested or not!!!! Thank-you to all of you calling me back....kudos! On to the next thing.....talk to you all later!

Anew day, a new dawn

Well I applied at another job...this one in Chicago!!! Who knows?? I also invested in buying a new book...Fired to hired by Tori Johnson....great book and very helpful in giving direction! So many other books just tell you things like you are stupid....I really get the impression she understands because she was there herself.....I recommend it highly!!!! Have a great one!!!!

Good Morning.....another week to really buckle down and look again! I've made up my mind to try and just blindly go into places and apply......I will need strength for this one and also to try and contact some of the places where I applied and see what is going on.....good luck to you all....

Sitting in Panera filing a nother weekly claim.....somehow sitting in here doesn't make it feel so sad...splurged on a pumpkin latte.....mmmmm so worth it....So I will start another week of searching for a job and for my place in society.....had discussion this week to go into offices and personally ask if they are hiring versus e-mailing/and/faxing....if an employer only gives that info but he says he still wants person towalk thru the door shouldn't he also tell them that? Some employers don't want you to walk in...I'mreally getting tired of the games ...I just want to work and all these games make you second guess yourself.....any suggestions?I'm also tired of people who just judge you for what they think you are doing instead of helping and bing encouraging. I am trying to stay diligent and work at it everyday...just like work. Doing a little of both...so keep me in your prayers so I don't get any more discouraged then I am...and same to you.....all in good in God's time!

holiday weekend

Well,another beautiful day.....my son is getting married this weekend and the kids and I will spend an extra day together....going to Starved Rock! Wish I had a job so I could some extra things but I don't sooo we are jamming as much as we can into an extra day......well and I am grateful the Lord has provided wonderful weather and beautiful nature and wonderful kids to enjoy this weekend....what more really do I need...gas money???? Now I am off track .....the Lord does provide!!!!! More looking up for our needs.....onward and forward allyou job hunters....Psalm 5 : 3
